Isn’t it funny how the dream we want to achieve most in the world often seems like the farthest, most difficult, most impossible thing in the world?

Yet we look at others and their dreams and think “But it’s so easy and simple for them… they just need to try.”

In my own life, I seem to excel in areas I have no interest in at all – but the dreams that are so close to my heart seem so far from my reality.

The fears that haunt me and the lies that taunt me only seem to hang around those dreams that mean so much to me.

I think there is something to be said about living fearlessly. I think the reason we excel in those areas we hardly care about is because our fears don’t turn the challenges into bigger obstacles than they actually are. We see those goals through realistic lenses and don’t allow them to intimidate us.
We also view criticism with those dreams fairly objectively, because we don’t really care about them as much.

But when it’s a dream that has been brewing in your heart … oh man. The slightest criticism can cripple it.
Those dreams are so sensitive.
They are so personal.

It has been said that:

“the dogs of doom stand at the door of your destiny”.

What this means is that the thing that you fear the most – the dream that is closest to your heart but seems the most impossible or intimidating to achieve… THAT is where your calling and destiny lies.

Now, you can pluck up your courage and brush off those fears and go after your dreams…

… or you can just keep dreaming about it and just let it stay a dream.

That choice is up to you – it’s not up to the universe or fate or God… it is purely and completely up to you to take ownership of and responsibility for your future.

Walt Disney said:

“If you can dream it, you can do it.”

Eleanor Rooseveld said:

“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”

You can see your dreams as a daunting task, or a something beautiful.

From my experience, when I embrace my future and my dreams and choose to love everything about myself, my life and my beautiful future… those dreams seem effortless.

Because when you choose to focus on what you love, you forget about and don’t focus on the fear. What you focus on is what will have power over you.

So be bold, be brave. Choose to embrace your life rather than to fear it.

Everything you have always wanted is right before you – if only you choose to let go of the fears and embrace it!

What if today you lived as if fear didn’t exist.

What if you took that risk, went for that dream and loved without restraint?

Imagine the possibilities for today, if today you lived in that way…

Imagine.

Imagine what could happen.

Now realize that whatever you can imagine and dream, you can ultimately make that your reality.

So whatever you do today, do it out of love: Love for yourself, love for your dreams, love for those around you – and let that love override the fear.

Because whatever you choose – whether fear or love – that is what you give power to to dictate your life.

So in my humble opinion, you should choose love.

“We are afraid to care too much,

for fear that the other person does not care at all.”

– Eleanor Rooseveld

Let us today be courageous in love, and bold enough to love without fear or constraint.

After all,

“There is no fear in love; instead, perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment. So the one who fears has not reached perfection in love.” – 1 John 4:18

Only you can decide how to manage your life and manage your love.

Don’t let the actions, words or thoughts of another affect how you choose to love.

Be bold.

Be brave.

                                          Be love.

Much love,

Rozanne
